The Learning Ethos of Proságo

We believe strongly that personal growth and leadership growth are intrinsically linked. Ongoing personal growth is very important and is expected but our primary focus is on becoming a competent Christian leader. We structure the program in such a way as to promote this goal. The two main methods that have evolved in our quest to teach leadership are the use of sessions and environment.

Sessions - emphasize leadership and outdoor skills

1. Symposiums – presenting information, ideas and concepts in an environment that stimulates discussion and further understanding.
2. Workshops – the integration of skills and knowledge in practical ways.
3. Journeys - Journeys are culminating events that provide


Environment - the atmosphere in which learning takes place

1. Community – living life together provides opportunities to integrate and apply what we learn.
2. Adventure – the tool we use to create learning opportunities
